Scheduled coaches run between Sapporo airport / city and Niseko. Coach services in Japan run like clockwork and are a cost effective way to travel. Coach transfers cost 2300 Yen per person one way.
Scheduled coaches arrive at the resort's Welcome Center. Make sure that your accommodation provider knows when you're arriving so that they can pick you up.
Or pay a bit more and book a scheduled door-to-door transfer all the way to your accommodation. Cost is cost 3000 Yen per person one way.
Private Transfer
These taxi services pick you up from the airport and drop you to your accommodation. And vice versa. Private transfers run at the time you request (as opposed to fixed schedules).
Private transfers cost about 7000 Yen per person one way for a typical sized group.
Unlike scheduled coaches which are seasonal, private transfers operate all year round.
Rent a Car
Having your own car can open up lots of options, letting you explore the area with greater freedom. A rental car is especially recommended for those coming in the 'Green Season' namely Spring, Summer and Autumn.
An international drivers permit is a requirement when driving in Japan.
