Excellent | Yes | The distance thing is not an issue. Buses are frequent and reliable. Chalet try and help where possible and a taxi back from Hirafu is only about 800 yen. Excellent | Yes | A real gem of a find. Beautiful colonial looking building with big airy rooms and common areas. Helpful, friendly people. A mixture of Aussies and Japanese.Choice of two lodges so there is something for everyone and every budget. Ensuites or share. Cook in or not.Set menu dinners available and bar menu.
